Giving Is Not Sowing Part 2.

May God give us eyes to see and understand.

"2 Corinthians 9:6-7 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

That scripture talks about sowing and reaping and it also talks about how it affects giving.

You SOW small and you REAP small so therefore you GIVE from your small harvest.

You SOW big and you REAP big therefore you GIVE from your big harvest.

The very same way Cain and Abel sowed, Cain being a tiller of the ground and Abel being a keeper of sheep and they REAPED a harvest after which they GAVE offerings out of their harvest.

Scriptures talk about the relationship between sowing and reaping and how it affects giving.

Alas, we have thrown away the very importance of sowing and declared that giving is equal to sowing. Ignorance gone on rampage.

Sowing comes before Giving. You SOW, you REAP then you GIVE.

Giving Is Not Sowing

Abel was a keeper of sheep; Cain was a tiller of the ground. They both sowed and reaped after which they gave offerings. #givingISNOTsowing

Noah gave offerings out of what he had; not in order to have. He gave from an existing harvest. You sow, reap then GIVE. #givingISNOTsowing

Abraham gave a tithe out of an existing harvest, albeit not his own. He DID NOT tithe in order to get a harvest. #givingISNOTsowing

Abraham was ready to give Isaac as offering; eventually gave a ram as an offering. In both instances he first received. #givingISNOTsowing

Jacob gave offerings to God out of what he already had. Every single offering he gave he first received in a harvest. #givingISNOTsowing

Moses said to Pharaoh, "You must also give us sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God. #givingISNOTsowing

Jethro, Moses' father-in-law took a burnt offering and offered sacrifices to God out of what he already had. #givingISNOTsowing

Every person who gave an offering first received it. The process was set up at creation & NOTHING can change it. #givingISNOTsowing

Be fruitful (SOW), Multiply(REAP), Replenish the earth(GIVE). Without this you can't subdue the earth or have dominion. #givingISNOTsowing

The more we teach that giving is sowing the more we make people poorer. When we teach people right EVERYBODY wins. #givingISNOTsowing

Sacrificial Giving: The Cain & Abel Story.

Cain and Abel both sowed and reaped and from their harvests gave offerings to God.

Why was God happy with Abel and unhappy with Cain? Abel gave sacrificially; as an act of worship from his harvest and in total surrender.

On the other hand, Cain did not give sacrificially because he wanted something back from God. Sacrificial giving expects NOTHING in return. When Cain saw that God was unhappy with his offering, his countenance fell because his heart was not pure; he simply should have gone back to give God a better offering but instead chose to murder his own brother.

NOTE: They both sowed and reaped; Cain a tiller of the ground, Abel a livestock farmer. It was from their harvest that they gave offerings.

God is our provider and we must always expect Him to play His part of being a provider at all times for the sole and simple reason that HE IS GOD and he Has given us His word about the things He will do and give us in our lives. However, when we give it must be an act of faith and worship and should not be connected to our expectations of God.

If you can still tie and connect an open door or God's blessing to some seed you have sown, money you have given, help you have rendered or anything whatsoever on the face of this earth that you could have done to deserve or make this thing happen, you are only still scratching the surface of the things God is able to do in your life.

When God shows up, when He opens a door, when His hand is upon you, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, your lips of clay or your heart of flesh will NEVER be able to utter or phantom that it happened because of something you did or something you may have done.

Lailai!

NEVER!

1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Isaiah 64:4
For since the beginning of the world
Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear,
Nor has the eye seen any God besides You,
Who acts for the one who waits for Him.

Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
Amen.
