A Christmas message to Nigerian Christians

Dear Nigerian Christians,

I write this letter to you with mixed emotions and feelings. I am excited the year is winding down and heralds a New Year while at the same time saddened by the state of the present day church in Nigeria in fulfilling God's purpose on the earth.

Economically and financially, 2019 is going to be a tough year for majority of Nigerian Christians. It is only those who have prepared for the tough times that will survive and even thrive.

The church is the body of Christ with Christ himself as the head and every other Christian as His body. For the purpose of structure, we have been given the five-fold ministry according to Ephesians 4:11 namely, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors (or shepherds) and teachers.

Most times, the leadership of a local church is head by a lead pastor. This lead pastor is the shepherd, the one who ensures the flock are tended to and taken care of; he ensures no harm comes to any of the flock and per adventure a member seems to go astray, he goes after that member to ensure he is saved. His priority is ministry to God and to God's people.

However, these days the local church is head by lead pastors who only seem to care about the numbers; the increase in revenue and income and how it can be sustained, how "church" can grow and more people can become members of the local church thereby increasing the revenue. These leaders are ready to stretch their members to give until they are limitlessly stretched while they are not prepared to do the same. They are ready to discard of any member that either does not agree with their stance on issues or has any differing opinion to theirs. They do not care for how your income can increase in order for you to be able to give more.

The truth is that everyone is looking out for themselves and therefore I write to fellow Nigerian Christians, as we head into a New Year 2019 which already promises to be tough according to current economic indices, LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELVES FIRST, your pastors will not. They are under great financial pressure; they have bitten more than they can chew and are burdened with heavy financial debts and mess. The pressure, they will in turn put on you by stretching you to give beyond your means without a care of how you are doing, be it spiritual, emotional or temporal.

Read, do research on how you can increase your income and equally how you can multiply it so that when you give, it does not stretch you to your financial ruin. Study business and trading principles, study the real estate market, STUDY, STUDY AND STUDY!

The reality is far beyond what we see every Sunday when we all put on our best clothes and put forward the impression that all is well.
No, all is not well and it saddens me to see many of us struggling daily with very basic things as feeding, transport and accommodation.

Until we begin to have church leaders whose priority is ministering to God and to God's people, brothers and sisters, those we have will come after every single dime in your wallets and bank accounts. The only way to survive this onslaught is to prepare by increasing your income and multiplying it.

A word is enough for the wise.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ahead.

Yours faithfully,

Yomi Faneye.

How Christian Billionaires Have Sown Their Seeds.

A wise farmer knows that his harvest will always come from the seeds he plants in his own farm. From his harvest, he first sets asides seeds to plant for the next planting season, then he sells some, eats some and gives some out to those in need. A wise farmer knows that whatsoever he plants, he must surely reap.  Only a lazy farmer would expect his harvest to come from the seeds he eats, sells or gives to someone in need.

A farmer will be rewarded from every seed he eats, that which he sells and that which he gives out to someone in need but he always knows that his harvest will only and always come from the seeds he plants.

In terms of money, it is the same as money is a seed which produces a multiplied harvest of the same when planted in the right soil.

To plant money means to invest money. The world's wealthiest chirstians are not just givers but they are investors of money. They thereafter give heavily from the multiplied seed harvest of their money.

1. Tyler Perry. Planted in Tyler Perry Studios. Networth: $400 million.
2. Cher Wang & Wenchi Chen. Planted in HTC Corporation. Networth: $8.8 billion.
3. Strive Masiyiwa. Planted in Econet Wireless. Networth: $1.4 billion.
4. David Green. Planted in Hobby Lobby. Networth: $5.6 billion.
5. Do Won Chang & Jin Sook Chang. Planted in Forever 21. Networth: $5.4 billion.
6. Folorunsho Alakija. Planted in Rose of Sharon and Famfa Oil. Networth: $2.1 billion.
7. Yomi Faneye. Planted in Bootstrap and another Undisclosed brand. Networth: Undisclosed

In conclusion, I want to encourage us all that as we give seeds, eat seeds, we must most importantly plant in our own farms because that is where the true harvest comes from.

Eat and Give but most importantly INVEST.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.

Giving Is Not Sowing Part 2.

May God give us eyes to see and understand.

"2 Corinthians 9:6-7 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

That scripture talks about sowing and reaping and it also talks about how it affects giving.

You SOW small and you REAP small so therefore you GIVE from your small harvest.

You SOW big and you REAP big therefore you GIVE from your big harvest.

The very same way Cain and Abel sowed, Cain being a tiller of the ground and Abel being a keeper of sheep and they REAPED a harvest after which they GAVE offerings out of their harvest.

Scriptures talk about the relationship between sowing and reaping and how it affects giving.

Alas, we have thrown away the very importance of sowing and declared that giving is equal to sowing. Ignorance gone on rampage.

Sowing comes before Giving. You SOW, you REAP then you GIVE.

LET THE CHURCH BE WARNED

Elijah was sent to a specific widow and not to all widows even though there were numerous widows in Zarepath.

We need to STOP misleading people with these financial gimmicks in order to raise money for the local church. Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin tried to correct this error in the body of Christ before going home to be with the Lord.

LET THE CHURCH BE WARNED.

We need to desist from this error and stop making a doctrine out of it.

TO HIM THAT HAS EARS TO HEAR; HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS SAYING.

What I Found About Making Money In The Bible

I hated being broke and poor; I hated going hungry for days. I was born-again and went to church regularly. I knew scriptures and was learning more daily. I was taught to give if I wanted to have so I gave as much as I could. The teaching was right but I felt it was INCOMPLETE. I needed to do my own search & research; I needed answers and OH! YES I GOT ANSWERS.

I stopped being broke and poor and I now eat to satisfaction when hungry. I am still born-again and I still go to church regularly. I am hungrier for God and His WORD than I've ever been. I desire to give more but I found I can't give what I don't have.

Here are a few things I found out in my study:

1. God created man in His image on the 6th day; male and female He created them. Man was created on the 6th day AFTER the trees and plants had been created on the 3rd day.
Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
2. Man was created but man did not have a form; man was not yet a living being. Man was a spirit that was inside God just like all of creation. However, man was formed and became a living being thereafter and man was formed BEFORE the trees, plants and even the animals.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

I found out that God created man with the words He spoke but formed man from the dust of the ground. They taught us RIGHTLY but often times INCOMPLETELY to speak forth our MONEY in order to CREATE it but if we truly are created in God's image and likeness, we need to complete the process like God did by giving FORM to money. We have often CREATED with our words but only few have learnt how to give FORM through the WORK of their hands.

As I studied further, I found a teaching of Jesus on the subject of money.

Luke 19:11-27
And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

I found 7 points in this teaching that has helped me tremendously on the subject of having money.

1. He gave money to ten of his servants to multiply by trading before he returned from his journey.
2. His citizens hated him because they disagreed with him.
3. When he returned he called the servants he had given money to know how much each had gained by trading.
4. A servant multiplied one pound to ten pounds and the master said to him "Well, thou good servant:because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities."
5. A second servant multiplid one pound to five "And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
6. A third servant refused to multiply and he was called "WICKED".
7. The money was collected from the wicked servant who refused to multiply his one pound and given to the servant with ten pounds.

You can not give what you don't have; If you want to give more you've got to have more.

In summary, whether we agree or not the money will always be collected from those of us who refuse to multiply it and be given to those of us that multiply it therefore SPEAK & CREATE with your words in agreement with the word of God but afterwards...

TAKE ACTION!

TRADE!!

MULTIPLY!!!

God Bless You.

Abundance: God's Financial Plan for Man.

God wants to do so much through us to the world. A lot of us have been blinded by our incomes and we are satisfied to have just enough to live comfortable or luxurious lives and have enough to support immediate family and friends. We find it difficult to comprehend that from an income of N150,000 (One hundred & fifty thousand naira), we can fund a project of helping the poor with N150,000,000 (One hundred & fifty million naira).
The average human mind assumes that even if he does not spend a dime out of his salary and keeps it all, he will have N1.8m in a year and it will take him over 83 working years (without spending on anything) to accumulate such funds so the possibility of a project that "little" is so big and seems impossible in his/her mind.

God's plan for man however is absolute abundance. God blessed man at creation and said to man, "be FRUITFUL, and MULTIPLY, and REPLENISH the earth, and SUBDUE it, and have DOMINION.............."

Often times, man gets stuck in the being FRUITFUL stage or doesn't even enter there at all.

I want us to expand our minds and see ourselves the way God sees us. God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ASK or even IMAGINE.

The very first step is to be FRUITFUL. You must begin with having an income. In this instance, I will use the N150k salary. Saving just 10% of that in 10 months will be N150k.
After saving aside N150k, next is to multiply. Even if you have a N50k income, you'll accumulate N150k if you set aside N5k monthly for 30 months.

Aim to double the N150k in a business cycle.

Your N150k in business cycles become:

1. N300k
2. N600k
3. N1.2m
4. N2.4m
5. N4.8m
6. N9.6m
7. N19.2m
8. N38.4m
9. N76.8m
10. N153.6m

You will exceed the N150m needed for the project in just 10 business cycles.

WARNING. Salary "ONLY" no fit do am ooo unless you are a part of the top management of a company collecting seven or eight digit wages.

It is when you provide goods and/or services that you're paid for by a number of people through a business that will get you there.

If your average annual income from a customer is N10,000, you need 15,000 customers to accumulate the N150m that you need.

If your average annual income is just N1,000, you need 150,000 customers. You can only achieve this kind of income through a business.

Keep in mind that the population of our country is well over 100 million. You don't need to be in competition with anyone, just start a business and MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

Start with the N150k that you have and all you need to double it to N300k is 15 or 150 customers as the case may be in the first business cycle. Repeat the process over the business cycles till you get to your destination. Continue till you get to N150billion and beyond.

You replenish the earth anytime God uses you as a channel of blessing so make up your mind to give and share as much as you decide to alomg the way.

Its possible and you dont have to quit your job to begin.

Start now and just start it as an experiment. You have absolutely nothing to lose.

That is the true essence of the sowing and reaping process.

THE HARVEST IS NOW.
